This post is just to say a huge thank you to all of you who have helped me on the journey to discover why Jesus thought the kingdom of God was the centre of everything, and what would change if we accepted his perspective.
Your likes are encouraging, and your comments are enriching. Sometimes I feel like I’m exploring first-century concepts that aren’t anywhere on our modern worldview maps. I’d be much more likely to wander off the track into a dead end if it wasn’t for staying connected with you.
Just seeing which posts you respond to helps me find the language that works in our world to announce the good news of Jesus’ kingship. It’s not always what I expect. For example, there’s a post from 2 years ago that’s taken on a life of its own: a summary of how Abraham’s life contributes to the kingdom of God.
So, special thanks for everyone who has taken the time to respond with comments on the blog: Kerry, Ruth, Graham, Lateah, Sheryll, Jim, Lance, Trevor, Francis, Linett, Jamie, Tobi, Steve, Terry, Audrey, Nick, Keith, Karen, Mike, Dharmesh, Marie, Annette, Peter, Chris, Jim, Phyllis, Connie, Eddy, Anja, Jo, John and others.
Thanks also for everyone who responded with comments on Facebook: Tim, Andrew, Dave, Sheridan, Nils, Caleb, Corey, Rhys, Lyn, Peter, Monica, John, Claire, Christo, Rob, Cate, Sophie, Doug, Mark, Danny, Steve, Alex, Irina, Luke, Justine, James, and more. There were others who shared and liked these posts on Facebook too, including Terry, Chantelle, Lippy, Tania, Chris, Lisa, Jacqui, Marie, Brandy-Lee, and Lauryn.
Affirming and respectfully challenging each other — that’s how we grow into more than we are.
Thanks for doing the journey with me. We’re better together.
Thank you mate for your commitment to this project! It has blessed me immensely.
