Exciting announcement: Riverview College

Did you hear about the new college in Perth?

Update 2021-02-07: Riverview College is not operating at present (COVID).

At last I can break the news that Riverview Church is launching a college in July.

Riverview College offers adults a formal qualification and hands-on experience:

  • Diploma of Ministry (10574NAT), accredited through Vose (RTO0145),
  • Leadership development, through workshops and internship.

We’re talking face-to-face training, engaging with lecturers and other students. Workshops and classes will be Wednesdays and Thursdays (9 am – 5 pm) at Riverview Church in Burswood, Western Australia. You’ll also need time to prepare (reading/ listening), complete assessments, and serve in a church department. Yes, there are fees; no, FEE Help is not available.

Join us for the Riverview College information evening: 7 pm Tuesday 29 May. We’ll share all the details and answer your questions that evening, or contact me if you wish.

It’s all happening:

  • Information night: 29 May, 2018
  • Student Orientation: 19 July, 2018
  • Classes commence: 25 July, 2018

At a personal level, this means I’m going back to school too. My workplace training and assessment qualification from 2002 is now considered obsolete, so I have 70 hours of lectures to attend this week and next, with assessments to complete in the following months.

Let’s study. Let’s grow together.
