Bibleview

Update 2021-02-07: old links removed.

Bibleview is a free Bible reading app that gives you two chapters of Scripture each day, along with an Observation (what it meant), Application (what it means to us), and Prayer (responding to what God said).

It takes you through the New Testament every year, and the Old every two years. You complete a book before going to another (except for Psalms). Each quarter you read a gospel, some epistles, some Torah and history, some Psalms, and some prophets — a balanced diet.

Bonus tips:

  • Missed a day? The left arrow beside S O A P takes you back to yesterday.
  • Swipe sideways to change page: Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer. (Same as pressing the S, O, A, P.)
  • Change font size and spacing through the menu (top right).
  • Share your thoughts with friends via Facebook or Twitter (top left), or over coffee; we’re all reading the same two chapters each day.

Get the app for iOS or Android, or use a browser.

Oh, and since we started the Book of Revelation today, here’s a series from last year if you want more depth:

  1. What’s this book about?  (Rev 1).
  2. From the Sovereign to his Servants  (Rev 2 – 4).
  3. God’s edicts are bound-up!  (Rev 5–7).
  4. The sovereign exposes the rebels  (Rev 8 – 13).
  5. God’s government replaces beastly government (Rev 14–18).
  6. The restoration of all things  (Rev 19–22).
